what precedes it is emphasised, by its omission. first experience of snowfall today. woke up and view out my window looked queer; the background didnt look as clear as before, but it wasnt the condensates on my window. it was the snowflakes gently floating toward the ground. so a little update on major happenings was in nyc for thanksgiving. arrived in the morning at 6, freezing our butts off. first stop times square for breakfast. then went to the metropolitan museum of art, which was enormously huge, spend a couple of hours but only realised we explored one mere wing of the museum. caught west side story on broadway. technically, it was excellent. the plot was too contrived for my liking though. second day we went to flushing, which was essentially chinatown, but not called chinatown because another place in nyc is already called chinatown. had cheap dim sum, then went down to wall street to walk about. ground zero, statue of liberty in the distance silhouetted...
